The Board of Management is a body corporate and is appointed by the Patron, Bishop of Killaloe and recognised by the Minister of Education in accordance with the Education Act (1998).

The Board of Management manages the school on behalf of the Patron and is required to discharge the respective functions of the Board and of the school as these are set out in the Education Act (1998).

The Board of Management operates under the Education Act (1998) and other relevant legislation, the Rules for National Schools, the Constitution of Boards of Management and Rules of Procedure of Board of Management of National Schools and directives and guidelines issued from time to time by the Minister and/or Department of Education and Skills.

The Board of Management takes great interest in all aspects of school life and is a huge support to the work of the school. We are very grateful to the members who give of their time and their talents to serve on our board.
